At the conclusion of each content chapter, students will find a group of six to twelve Study Cards. These “flash” cards identify the chapter’s most essential content information. The Study Cards are designed to aid student recall and retention. Educational research suggests that Study Cards are especially useful for memory-intensive content. Chapter 1 is devoted to explaining how to best use these cards. When students use these cards for review, they will be able to look at the card’s prompt to test their memories.
